Champions and War Shields
This is just to give you all a rough idea of how much it costs to promote someone in your alliance to become a Champion and how much it costs to shield someone in your alliance.
This example is taken from my level 26 alliance, Blade Storm.
We are able to promote up to 3 Champions and shield up to 3 members.
Personal opinion : It's not worth it, better to activate boosts for everyone in the alliance for that price rather than Championing/Shielding a few in the alliance! Unless you're a Top + Maxed out alliance with every boosts activated, and needed that extra 'boost' to win war, I'd say it's a pass.
