Here's Another!
This one is very similar to a Straight line open base, but rather
it has Towers covering the Castle Gate section.
I'd like to call this 'Home Guard'.
As you can see they Towers are only placed near the Castle gate, covering the outer grounds.
Kinda like a U shape outside of the gate.
Like this, also notice how I covered the Gargoyles like my in previous posts.
Now what you want to do is leave the 1st and 2nd wave empty.
But fill the 3rd wave with Gargoyles!
And the remaining waves with anything but Gargoyles!
(This is to cover up the Gargoyles when Enemies view your base.)
I'd recommend you fill it with Range DPS troops but it's up to you really, as long as you cover up the Gargoyles!
What usually happens is that the attacking King will rush in to the Castle Gate as there aren't any Troops defending.
He will think that it is easy win and rush in and uses his spells on the Castle Gate.
Suddenly BOOM! Gargoyles appears!
Usually this will catch the attacking King off guard and causes him to panic into the Tower's attacking range!
And die. ;)
Which again, faces with the choice of Reviving or Retreating, granting you the chance to earn some Gems!
TIPS:
- Don't extend the path as the Troop Waves will be not accurate. You want the Gargoyles to appear when the attacking King is at your Gate eating arrows and in the proximity of the Towers surrounding the Gate.
- Having high level Castle Gate helps, a high level gate hurts even the toughest Kings!
- High level Firebolt Towers/Archer Towers works best for this Bait Base.
- Try to get Maxed Gargoyles, they work best!
- Don't worry if you're not getting Gems, just lower your Trophies and weaker Kings will get Baited!
